Cheer Up, She Found You
So mine came... The print is okay, but now the quality of the shirts? Very, very thin. I honestly don't want to wear it. Wet toliet paper is thicker. I tried it on, and my bra (a nice skin tone one) actually showed through. No, I will not supply pictures of that. I was so excited about this being printed, too, and now it's unwearable. I liked the old way of tagless info and now the huge tag is kind of tacky and cheap looking.
The older Cameesa shirts I have are good (well, decent) quality. I understand Cameesa is still trying to find its way, but with all the messed up colors of some of the prints and now with this strange shirt quality, I really worry about the future here.

The big tags are a bit tacky. I don't own any "older" Cameesa shirts, but I think a tagless inside print like Threadless and DBH does would be nice. Or a less intrusive Cameesa tag like shirt.woot has.

The older Cameesa shirts had the tagless print on the inside... And I agree that the big tags were a turn off. I also noticed the difference in the shirt blanks... What happened to AA? I wasn't aware that they had switched. It seems like quality is starting to plummet here... I mean, they say they've finally gotten the whole printing problem solved(the print on this shirt seems okay, just a little darker than I would've hoped), and now this. These recent changes have been subtle, and probably aren't much to worry about, but any more and I'd be a bit worried. I have to mention that the site updates have been for the better, but not if it becomes cause for quality to dip.

I got my "Cheer up she found you" today too. I always thought it was suppose to be red not orange so I was pretty disappointed in that. Hate the new tags. Didn't like how huge the old ones were on white blanks but I liked it better then the new tag. It seemed like a different fit, so I didn't even try it on. Honestly, it looked narrorwer throughout the waist - which means I have the the wrong size now. I liked a snug fit but it seems more narrow which means it will be too tight. Rrr.

@ Mixer23-- There's a post somewhere in the forums where Kamil explained that they switched from AA to Tultex because they are currently taking a "huge hit" every time a shirt gets printed, and they're doing what they can to reduce the costs while keeping the quality up. Tultex shirts are still of good quality, but they fit is a bit different. I can understand if Cameesa is having hard times... I really like the idea of Cameesa and since they seem quite willing to ensure their customers are happy, I will continue to support them through the good times and bad.

But the new shirt is not good quality. It's unwearable it's so thin. I don't want to wear a shirt so thin my bra (regardless of the color of it--even skin tone) shows through. I do not want to look like a hoochie mama. I compared thiss shirt to a yellow AA shirt, and it's a much poorer quality. I'm really tempted to pull my supports from all the light colored shirts I'm now supporting, because I will not wear them. Thin colored shirts are okay, but anything yellow, white, cream, etc. won't work. Why should I support/buy a shirt I know I won't wear and be disappointed with?
The print does look fantastic and I loved this design. That's why I'm upset (nearly heartbroken).
If Cameesa uses an inferior shirt, that is going to drive off business and loose customers.

@AGrant311 we thought long and hard before trying out Tultex. We looked at tons of different brands, and then I went and ordered every color and wore the blank shirts for a month.
I really enjoy wearing Tultex, and haven't noticed it to be thin like yours is. You could have a defective shirt. I think you should wash it in cold water, inside out. Then tumble dry low or hang dry it.
If it is still "toilet paper-esque", then we will definitely exchange it for you.
You can see the honorable BootsBoots herself wearing the tee here.

Ah, then perhaps they should have made it a bit well known that they made the switch. I don't really notice too much of a difference in the shirt itself, and honestly couldn't care less about it being too thin anyway, as I'm a guy. My main complaint is with the tag, but if they must use it, then fine. I'm not gonna stop supporting here altogether just yet, as I do love the way things work here... It's just the turnout that hasn't been so great... So far I'm 3 for 4 as far as at least having small dissappointments for shirts from here. Hopefully most of the speedbumps are in the past though :)

I'm going to throw in here too that I'm very disappointed in the Cheer Up. Which ruins this whole site for me. You should have sent an e-mail out letting people know about the change in shirts because if I had known that it was going to be narrower through the waist, I would have changed my size - as it was. I didn't know because I don't check the forums regularly. I come here, look at new supports - pick what I like and I'm done. I think the new tags look cheap but I could live with that if the shirt I ordered actually fit me. As it is, I now have a shirt that won't fit on a shirt I thought I would really love.

@SassBot5001-- If you're that unhappy with it, I'd shoot Cameesa an email. Under the circumstances, they might consider exchanging it for you.

I hate to break it to you guys, but Woot's yellow shirts are see through too, and Woot uses AA shirts. I have seen multiple complaints when Woot prints on yellow, guys complaining that their nipples are visible and girls saying their bras show through. I think part of the problem is the yellow color being so light. Of course a nice thick shirt like Teefury uses would probably eliminate the problem, but I don't think simply switching back to AA will fix the problem.
Honestly, I thought the actual print of the Cheer Up shirt was fantastic. The shirt IS a little thin for my taste, but again, I don't think AA would fared well with yellow either.

No, it is thinner than Woot's. I compared it to one.
- AGrant311 commented 243 days ago
Actually, I never said it wasn't...:)
I simply said that Woot's yellow shirts have the exact same see through problem, so simply having used AA would not necessarily have solved the problem of being see through.
