Matei Liviu [aka. eZ-kun] - Artist Interview

Tell us about yourself.
Self-taught doodler. Trying to improve my artwork skills, freelancing designer and loving every second of it.Finished Letters Uni, now to-be English teacher in Romania. 23 years old and saddened by the number of years lost slacking off when I had quit drawing.

Describe your typical day.
Wake up at 10 am, no matter if i went to sleep at 1 am or 5. I'm weird like that:P. Skip breakfast..checking out e-mails, forum posts that i care for, twitter updates. this might as well take all day some days:). Usually i get to drawing/designing something, i try to create at least 2 finished pieces/week...this could take until 5-6 am, i hate leaving things to draw for tomorrow.
Well, when i'm not doing that, i'm hanging out with friends, girlfriend, video games (less and less lately:( )..etc.

- Favorites: movie, music, TV, Books (feel free to add your own)
I have too many favorites of each, i will just give one of each, but there are tens of times more;)
movie: Green Mile.
Music: i like tunes, not genres:).
TV: House MD.
Books: Clavell's Shogun.
Video game: Metal Gear series, Tekken

- What's your favorite t-shirt that you have designed?

- What's your favorite Tee that someone else has designed?
Oh, tough one. Really tough...so many i LOVE! (i buy at least 3 new tees/month, and all after a careful selection). I'm partial to this because it fits me so well, even makes me look slim and i love the color combo:

- Do you do art projects outside the t-shirt world?
Not at the moment. Some web-design stuff...nothing fancy:)

- What are you most proud of?
Having a beautiful girlfriend that actually loves me as much as i do her, being able to live off the money i make creating art-works, not having a 9-5 job anymore.

- What are some words of advice for fellow Cameesians?
Love and respect yourself and others as you want to be loved and respected by them. Things change, from one day to the next things can drastically improve, so never lose hope.
